Before you sign up for a social media platform to grow your business, you need to have a clearly defined goal of what you want to achieve. Ask the following questions:

What is my purpose for creating social media pages?

Who is my target audience?

How do I reach these target audiences?

The answers to these questions will depend on how well you become familiar with the major social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and more. You should be “SMART” in terms of your goals

2. Interact with your audience and understand their needs

Interact with your audience regularly and let them see your human side. Be more concerned about their posts and comments and react accordingly. Reply to an audience that shows interest in your post and will be willing to follow you and read your posts.
